What’s a brain drain?

A ‘brain drain’ is a condition in which many talented or educated people leave a particular place and move to another one that gives them better pay or living conditions. A Providence Journal analysis of the U.S. Census Bureau data reported “1,724 more Rhode Island residents ages 20 to 29 moved out of the state than moved in during the years 2006 to 2012.”

Is this just another Young Professional organization?

No. Millennial Rhode Island is a ‘generational organization’. We encourage Rhode Island residents born from 1979-2000 to become members. We do offer Mentor memberships to people who aren't millennials and want to give back to the next generation.
